1993-7-27The most important variables in preparation of PCCMP were type of wall materials used as well as final level and inlet temperature of the spray dryer. Solid content in the mixture to be spray dried was about 3.5-5 and this was found to afford best results. Other parameters such as feed flow rate and nitrogen pressure were of less importance.

Environment-assisted cracking of WE43 cast magnesium 4.2 wt. Yt 2.3 wt. Nd 0.7 Zr 0.8 HRE in the T6 peak-aged condition was induced in ambient air in notched specimens. The mechanism of fracture was studied using electron backscatter diffraction serial sectioning and in situ observations of crack propagation.
About 45 of the mill volume is occupied by rods. Rotation is at 50-65 of critical. 7. Ball mills are better suited than rod mills to fine grinding. The charge is of equal weights of 1.5 2 and 3 in. balls for the finest grinding. Volume occupied by the balls is 50 of the mill volume. Rotation speed is 70-80 of critical.

The same parameters obtained with pyrolysis-GCMS are applied to a high-resolution sampled peat core. The lignin composition of dominant plant species graminoids and ericoids and different peat fractions NaOH-extractable bulk and non-extractable residues were also studied with pyrolysisGCMS.
Other less critical criteria can be considered in subsequent iterations where more in-depth investigation is needed for each of the candidate processes. For the hypothetical situation described in Table 3-1 nine utilizationdisposal options are considered feasible and are set up for evaluation.
